Lamb Curry

Ingredients

Butter or oil
Onions chopped
Garlic minced
1 lb. lamb 'stew'
1 cup plain yogurt
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. ground coriander
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cardamom
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  1. Melt butter/oil in heavy kettle/pot.
  2. Sauté onions garlic until tender/transparent.
  3. Remove from pan.
  4. Add lamb, brown all sides.
  5. Return onion and garlic. Add other ingredients.
  6. Simmer until tender approximately 30 minutes.
  7. Add water if you want to thin sauce before serving.
